Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) are the skills by which adults and children are able to acquire that make them successful for life and learning. Krista Leh, a 2012 ASCD Emerging Leader and educational consultant who focuses on social and emotional learning, discusses the five components of SEL and how teachers can be more purposeful about integrating into their content.
