To Elaine Johnson and Ryan Osbourne, teachers at Burlington High School, past Professional Development was uninspiring and non-committal. But with the current administrations thoughtful and purposeful approach to PD, teachers were able to receive quality PD that pushed forward understandings, foster a sense of community, and allow educators to increase academic rigor.
